Ereshkigal Dark Goddess Candles of Surrender

To release is a conscious act of naming, and handing over. To surrender, is not so much an ask but a demand of the  subconscious. It’s an act that demands us to lean fully in without expectation, without complete awareness of the process or the outcome rather,  to sit deeply in our knowing.

If we truly desire to walk with the Dark Goddess, we must learn surrender in order to embody our magick in the way that it is meant to be embodied. We must learn to surrender if we truly want to be made Other, by The Other through the acts of initiation.  We absolutely must surrender to its process.  These are all transformations; a deep alchemy that exist on a soul level, experienced by the subconscious.

When we walk with Ereshkigal, we are asked to surrender. As Inanna passed through the seven gates of the underworld she consciously handed over all the things that tied her to who she thought she was. She did so willingly.  What happened when she came face-to-face with her sister in Kur was an act of surrender. Ereshkigal did not ask her to die, but demanded it by splitting her in two and hanging her on the gates of the underworld. These candles are made manifest to embody this very moment; not that they are harbingers of death, but a harbrinher of transformation on a deep soul level.  They are meant to be burnt as you sit with The Dark Goddess with a YES that comes from deep within.  A YES to surrendering to Her gnosis.  A YES to knowing yourself deeper than you can fathom.
