These 6” pillars are fixed with herbs, oils, resins and roots that are in alignment with the path-work necessary to reach the deep layers of our subconscious minds. The Vowel Triangle on the front of the candle creates a portal the the Underworld through  the sounding and singing of each of the vowels; from Alpha to Omega. This triangle is found in the grimoires of the Greek Magical Papyri, and in ancient Egyptian texts.
